graduation

without them, my voice feels soggy. i want to bring them home from their vacations - water skiing, cayman islands,  mountaineering, down south relatives, cruise ships, beachsides, peopleless cabins, walking the dogs, grooming the parrokeets, driving just driving, french teashops, patisserie romping. i want them back in the classrooms ...

...demanding more of more of more of me.

graduation has not been easy.
